Private email assistant for Mac
Postling reads your Gmail on your Mac, quietly files the noise and writes you a short briefing of what actually matters. Your email never leaves your computer.

Mute the noise
Newsletters, receipts, notifications, promotions, login codes. Postling files each one under the right label and takes it out of your inbox, so the few emails that do need you are never buried. Nothing is deleted: it's all a click away.
How it works
Sign in with Google in a secure window. Postling never sees your password, and your sign-in is kept in your Mac's Keychain.
Pick your focus areas, such as your children's school, your clients or a job search. Keep the labels and filters you already have.
Up to three times a day, in the app or by email. Every item tells you what happened, what's new and what to do by when.
What it does
Each email gets a label and a priority from P0 to P3, using categories you choose.
Questions for you and things to do stay in the inbox. Everything else is filed away.
Marked new, updated or pending, with dates, amounts and next steps, so you rarely need to open the email.
Move an email to another label and Postling learns from it. It always shows why it filed something.
Appointments, deadlines and events from your email land in your Mac's calendar.
Send your partner just the school and family items, without giving them access to your inbox.
Keeps your existing labels and filters, and never touches labels it didn't create.
Login codes are hidden from briefings, and tracking images are blocked when you read an email.
Private by design
Most AI email tools send your messages to their servers to be read by a model in the cloud. Postling has no servers. The AI runs on your Mac, so there's nothing of yours for anyone to read, sell, leak or train on.
Who it's for
School, clubs, doctors and bills, all in one place. Get the family items in your briefing, and send your partner a copy of just those.
Client emails and deadlines first, with nothing sent to a cloud AI. That matters when your clients trust you with confidential information.
Founders, managers and job seekers: the replies that matter rise to the top, and the rest waits for when you have time.
Pricing
There's no server to pay for, so there's no subscription. Buy a licence, keep using it. Updates for the first year are included.
Sorting, briefings, learning and calendar dates are in every plan. After the first year, updates are optional: £29–£59 a year depending on the plan. If you don't renew, Postling keeps working. The beta is free.
Questions
No. Postling uses the AI model built into your Mac, plus a small model it trains on your own mail, on your Mac. Your email goes from Gmail to your Mac and nowhere else.
A Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 26 or later, with Apple Intelligence turned on.
Postling starts with Gmail and Google Workspace. Outlook and other email providers are planned; join the beta and tell us which one you use.
It adds its own labels, archives emails that don't need you and marks them read. It never deletes an email and never touches labels it didn't create. Your stars stay where they are.
Move the email back to your inbox or to another label, in Gmail or in the app. Postling learns from that, and every decision shows the reason it was made.
Yes, Postling works while your Mac is awake. If it was asleep, it catches up when you open the lid and sends any briefing it missed.
Choose Disconnect in Settings. That revokes Postling's access at Google. Delete the app and its data folder, and nothing remains, because nothing was ever stored anywhere else.
No. You pay once. Updates for the first year are included, and renewing updates after that is optional.
Free beta
We're inviting a small group of Gmail users to test Postling before launch. Beta testers get the founding licence price when it goes on sale.
We'll only use your email address to send your invite and launch news. Unsubscribe any time.
